Friday, 28. August 2009: noborder Campers protest outside Pagani detention centre.
 
22.45: A spontaneus demonstration took place through the small neighborhoods in the city. About 200 people joined it, shouting slogans and do graffiti in the walls. Lots of local people get in their windows to see what was going taking leaflets and watching the march. the demo ened at a concert from a greek band. The participants went inside with a banner  and shouting slogans. At a moment they tokk over the microphone to read the distributed leaflet and to spread the news about todays march and the situation of migrants in greece. It ended around 23:00.
21:45: The demonstration reached Sappho-Square,
21.30: The demonstration with some 600 participants arrived in the center of Mitilini and is still walking through the city. They are flyposting and painting graffiti along the way.
21.27: The demonstration arrived in Mytilini, and it is BIG. A lot of people joined it.
20.49: The demonstration is moving to Mytilini.
20.48: The women and the sick were brought to the hospital
20.27: the delegation is still negotiating about the release of some very sick people from Pagani - including women with sick children
19.45: people are going on making noise, waiting for the return of the delegation to decide what to do next. Policemen at the road and in the forest seem pissed off but stay calm. Amount of demonstrators:  a few hundred,  about 200 meters away from the building.
19.31: delegation about to return in 15 min, - detained refugees send a thank you to the demonstration
19.20: huge sound action at the detention center: about hundred people outside are drumming on metal, dancing, having fun.
19.05: the delegation is now inside - people outside are making a lot of noise to be heard inside Pagani, the mood is good
18.30: everything calm, still no real movement - our delegation is getting ready to go inside
18.05: the people are moving closer to the police road block
17.48: results of the negotiations so far: we can send a delegation of 10 people into Pagani
17.45 people are leaving the shadow, gathering on the street, shouting slogans
17.40 negotiations going on, no movement so far. The main road is blocked with a bus.
17.27 negotations with the police, protest will be able to move closer to the site of Pagani.
17:20: A lot of people at Pagani, but access to site itself is blocked
